Designed in L&M Home's Melbourne studio, the Vasette cushion features an abstract poppy design made with a traditional hand-embroidered chain stitch technique. Shades of ochre, latte and tobacco combine effortlessly to create a striking statement cushion, perfectly paired with our Vasette cushion and Burton collection.
Chainstitch embroidery is a traditional Kashmiri handicraft and is important to the local economy. All pieces are produced by artisans in remote villages and provide an important supplementary income between harvests. The stitching is done by hand, making each cushion a unique piece of art.
