Introducing Artist Rosie Woods to Bedouin Traders

We are thrilled to present the latest collection of works by Rosie Woods, an internationally renowned street artist now based on the Sunshine Coast. Known for her striking large-scale murals across the globe, Rosie seamlessly transitions between public art and studio canvases, bringing her bold, visionary style into new dimensions.

This collection highlights her recurring use of gold—fluid ribbons and delicate drop-like forms—imbued with both precision and an organic quality. The striking contrasts in her work—between light and shadow, fluidity and form—create a sense of movement and transformation that defines her artistic approach.

Rosie’s work exists at the threshold of abstraction and realism, exploring the profound connection between the physical and the transcendent. Each piece invites viewers to reflect on the fluidity of human experience, captured in her vivid, ethereal designs. Her career spans over a decade, with murals showcased at international festivals and collaborations with brands such as Alexander McQueen and Meta.

Legacy in Murals:

Rosie Woods has spent the past decade creating captivating large-scale murals across the globe, cementing her place as one of the most influential voices in contemporary street art. Most recently, Meta commissioned her to create an augmented reality mural at their Silicon Valley headquarters. In 2023, she was recognised as one of 50 essential contemporary artists in Diego Lopez's Street Art by Women.

Among her many iconic works is her recent mural for the 2024 London Mural Festival, which she describes as deeply personal. The mural features a figure reclining against a golden Trafalgar Square Lion, surrounded by roses—a visual love letter to England and its cultural identity. As Rosie shared in her own words:

"Living abroad has only deepened my connection to my British identity... I hope this mural serves as a reminder, to be kind to our country and to each other—with courage and affection."

This powerful work embodies Rosie’s talent for weaving personal reflection with bold, culturally resonant imagery, making her murals as thought-provoking as they are visually striking.

Bold New Series:

Now based in Noosa, Rosie continues to captivate audiences with her ability to create works that feel both deeply personal and universally resonant. We are honoured to showcase her newest collection of works on canvas, in-store and online.

About the Artist
Rosie has spent the past decade creating captivating large-scale murals around the world and was recognised as one of the 50 essential contemporary artists in Diego Lopez's Street Art by Women (2023). Reflecting the tech-savvy, internet-driven generation she grew up in, Rosie uses 3D modelling software to create hyper-realistic contrasts and ethereal forms in her paintings. Simultaneously, her work remains deeply connected to nature, drawing inspiration from organic shapes and patterns. This blend of technology and nature is fitting, as Rosie was raised in London’s dynamic, cutting-edge environment but now lives on Australia’s stunning Sunshine Coast, immersed in nature. Her art effortlessly fuses the energy of urban life with the serenity of the natural world. Her murals have been showcased at prominent international festivals and featured in prestigious publications, with high-profile collaborations including Meta and Nike.

This series of work is available exclusively to Bedouin Traders.
