Noosa Girl by Adam Harriden- This photo was a real gamble, for years every summer Adam saw hundreds of young children jumping from the Noosa River bridge, as crowds watched on kids would line up for hours to repeat the moment. This simple joy that every kid was having was something priceless and that took Adam back to his childhood, he really wanted to capture this moment but in an abstract way, so it wasn't about the child in the picture but the moment of freefalling through the air into the water. The result was this image, an incredible stop frame of a mid-air fall to freedom. Even rarer the fact that he could get the motion with his vintage polaroid.
Shot on vintage 320 Polaroid LandCamera with film then transferred onto archival rag free paper.
1/20 signed and numbered, framed in beautiful Scandanavian Oak natural timber, 110x130.
