Sundown By Dinah Wakefield

Sundown is part of a new series of artworks by Dinah Wakefield focused on The Golden Hour; that period of late afternoon as the sun slowly sinks into the horizon. This series of paintings are expressive, combining ochre yellows, gentle orange and a hint of pink, all vying for attention within the composition. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of calm reflected on the canvas, illuminating the peaceful harmony as the day completes itself and prepares for the night.
